Privacy policy
This policy covers visits to this website and the early-access list. How we process data sent through the Soloniq API is governed by our data processing agreement (DPA).
Who is responsible
Zana Technologies GmbH, Heckenrosenweg 1, 76149 Karlsruhe, Germany — info@zana.ai. See the imprint.
Visiting this website
- The website runs on our own servers in the EU.
- When you load a page, your browser sends technical data (such as your IP address) to our server so the page can be delivered. We do not write visit logs and do not store your IP address.
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising.
- Fonts and scripts are served from our own server; your browser contacts no third party.
- We choose the page language from the language setting your browser sends. It is not stored.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website).
Early-access list
If you request access, we store your email address, whether you are interested as a customer or partner, and the time of your request. We use it only to send your invite and related information about Soloniq.
- Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
- Storage: on our servers in the EU. We do not share it with anyone.
- Retention: until you have an account, withdraw your consent, or 12 months pass without an invite — whichever comes first.
Console accounts (app.soloniq.com)
If you have a Soloniq account, we store your email address, name, the accounts you belong to and your role, and your sign-in sessions (a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in). We do not store your IP address with your session. Sign-in links and service emails are sent through eusend, an email service that processes and stores data only in the EU; open and click tracking are switched off. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the service you signed up for). We keep this data while your account exists and delete it when you close it, except where tax law requires us to keep invoices.
Payments and invoices
To issue invoices we store the billing details you enter (company or name, address, country, optional VAT ID and invoice email) and every payment (amount, method, date, payment reference). We check EU VAT IDs with the European Commission's VIES service. If you pay with PayPal, you pay on PayPal's site; PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, processes that payment under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the payment confirmation. For bank transfers we receive what your bank sends with the transfer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. We keep invoices and payment records for the periods required by German tax and commercial law (up to 10 years).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@zana.ai.
You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for our registered office: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart.
